You might have the perfect BMI and even weigh just about right. But being healthy and being in shape or fit are two completely different things. Let your body help you decide. Here are 10 signs that mean you are unhealthy.

Breathlessness: Do you find yourself out of breath after climbing a single flight of stairs? Well, that's not normal. Chances are your stamina has hit rock bottom. Start working out or join a yoga or play outdoor games such as badminton, shuttle.

Cracked lips: If this happens too often, you need to stop blaming it on the weather. Cracks at the corners of your lips could mean you have a Vitamin B12 deficiency. A lack of Vitamin B12 can lead to diseases like anaemia and weakness. Incorporate foods high in the Vitamin B12 in your diet such as meat, poultry, eggs, milk. You may also need to intake Vitamin B12 supplements.

Sniffles: Are you often down with a cold? That's a sign of a low immune system. It would be good to visit our physician who can advise you on a diet to boost your immune system, as well as intake of Vitamin C supplements.

Yellow urine: Pay attention to the colour of your urine, because it is a strong indicator of your body health. If you are drinking enough water and well hydrated, your urine should be clear, not yellow. So drink at least eight glasses of water a day. If the yellow colour persists, you will need to get your kidney functions checked.

Perpetual Tiredness: If you get seven to eight hours of sleep every night, you should not be exhausted. Perpetual tiredness for no apparent reason could mean you have a thyroid problem. Your adrenal glands are getting burned out leading to your body using up all the energy early without being able to replace it. Get your thyroid checked.

Snoring: Have you recently started snoring? Well, don't ignore it. This often happens because of a condition called sleep apnea, a sleep disorder that occurs when there is obstruction in the airway. Skin issues: If you are breaking out constantly, or developing acne or other skin disorders on a regular basis, then it may not just be the wrong beauty products.
